My Guide for your journaling journey

I know I've recently made a call to journal and to start looking out for yourself.

But as a teenager like all of you, I know that it can be confusing to know where to start.

So here I decided to help you out with that. šŸ˜‰

But first I want to give you a pro tip:

Your first step is obviously to get yourself an empty notebook or an agenda with already prepared spreadsheets.

If you choose the empty notebook, the whole thing will become more in the field of freestyling and you will most probably make your own spreads which leads us to bullet journaling.

So if you are completely new to journaling, I'd recommend you to start off with an agenda having already all essentials printed out for you.

In all ways, you'll still need guiding questions/ideas to help you fill out the pages and to help actually be journaling or making a diary entry.

But just a friendly reminder:

You don't have to only follow those questions, there are plenty of other guides on the internet and you can also create your own ideas. It's your space and you are doing it for you:)

So here are some questions/ ideas to guide you

1. current thoughts and feelings (aka current state)

Here you write down all what you feel in the present moment, which helps you become more present and mindful and which might count as meditation, if you meditate beforehand and then write down what you felt in every part of your body or how your thoughts were. But also what you hear around you.

2. What you did in that day

3. Regrets?

4. What is something you are grateful for?

5. Something unique/ extraordinary that happened?

6. Writing all you feel/ think as a sort of destressing and knowing where you are standing

7. Affirmations/Mantras

which are basically like "quotes" you repeat mostly before bed or as soon a syou wake up until you feel them and truly believe in them in a way that they are influencing your everyday life. An example could be "Today I choose to be happy and productive".

Also here, yo can get inspo from the internet or create your own ones.

8. Goals for the next month , year, five years

9. What does happiness mean to you?

10. You can also write letters to your future/past self

I hope you found this helpful

and I wish you a productive week

Good luck, friend <3
