We all can agree on the fact that quarantine made most of us lose motivation.
For me it was trying to be the most productive person ever but then turning to someone that I don't even recognize anymore.
Then it was time to get to know myself, starting from making myself personalized playlists to journaling. But I still lacked of motivation and couldn't find a way to getting back to my younger self who was keen and curious about the dumbest things!
Hear me out, you will know what all this boring talk leads to in the end :p
A few days after the start of 2021 YouTube recommended me the following video
(I'm not even in college, still I did watch it while-oops , pRoCraStiNatinG?). Usually when someone in a YouTube video tells you to write down something you don't, am I right? At least I never did until this time, "the universe made me do it".
When I was done I called the whole process the "Motivation-Therapy" and believe it or not, it did wonders to me <3
Write down your motivation struggles! (ex: no rewards)
Find solutions for those struggles. (ex: reward yourself)
What makes you passionate about learning?
How does your ideal self look like?
and by getting to this point I must share with you MY IMAGINATION OF MY IDEAL SELF:
"I enjoy my studies a lot and I'm able to manage my time so I can both study and relax doing what I love. I have a healthy sleeping schedule and am refreshed and at peace with myself and my life!"
5. Just one last thing:
Never forget that it's DISCIPLINE OVER MOTIVATION,
so you actually do the work because you must!
I hope you liked my first cup (aka post) and I can't wait to share more with you!
